Patricia Hickey, has been promoted from Vice President of Sales to Head of Sales and Co-Production, responsible for UK, The Americas, Australasia Western Europe, and The Middle East and Africa.
3DD recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and Dominic Saville, CEO said. “Patricia has brought a new dynamic to the company and with our shift into our own factual productions her experience is timely for this promotion.”
Patricia, was previously Head of Sales and Acquisitions at UK Indie Mercury Media before joining 3DD four years ago.
Hickey has also just negotiated a deal with Emma Sparks, UKTV’s Acquisitions and Co-Production Manager, for the sale of 3DD’s new Anne Frank documentary.
Sparks commented “We are delighted to be working with 3DD on this extraordinary and fascinating programme. The documentary uses Eva Schloss’ personal stories and memories of Anne Frank, as well as her moving testaments about her survival from the death camps.”
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the death of Anne Frank, 3DD has produced the documentary special Anne Frank: The Tale of Two Sisters 1x60’, which will première in July on Britain’s biggest factual channel, Yesterday, part of UKTV’s network of award-winning channels. The doc explores the extraordinary tale of Anne Frank and Eva Schloss and how Eva was to become the step daughter of Anne’s Father, Otto Frank.
