With 20 years of international licensing and 10 years building its production strands, 3DD continues its programming expansion from live music television and documentaries on stars of film and music into history and factual genres.

New history series include “Raiders of the Lost Art, “Hitler – Germany’s Fatal Attraction”, “Anne Frank – A Tale of Two Sisters” and “The Vietnam War”, and now in production for UKTV a new strand, Legacy, starting with Shakespeare, presented by John Nettles for the  400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in April 2016, and a second season of “Murder Maps” exploring the most famous murders in London around the first half of the 20th Century.

Long running series include “Discovering Film” and “Discovering Music”, “Stars of the Silver Screen” “Movie Talk presented by Jason Solomons”, “Rock Legends”, “Pop Profiles” and “London Live”, and entering 5th seasons or more, with other factual entertainment series such as “Passion for Fashion -The Designers”.

3DD have a number of new history projects in development around key anniversaries, the 80th anniversary of the Berlin Olympics, the events leading up to Pearl Harbor, the development of the Atom Bomb and the legacy of author HG Wells.
